![]() ![]() MGS is great, but Konami already put 60 million in that thing. Was Sony supposed to put another 4 million into a 6 man studio studio for that game? No Man's Sky was a great project with a ton of hype, but development was slow as shit and that's why they couldn't deliver. Like what? At some point a publisher needs to put the game out there to get anything back on his investment. The game was in development for 8 years, had 60 million pumped into it and Kojima still wanted to delay the game. That isn't just a development deadline, but those are deals on black and white where you have to pay big fucking money if you don't keep your end of the bargain. Sony pumped money into the game because they want an FGC Esports title for 2016. Sponsors are paying into the CPT because they want to be part of that new game. Labor isn't free and delaying a game like SFV can cost even more, because there's the CPT. Because delaying a game costs a fuckload of money.
